R. Buckminster Fuller was an American architect, systems theorist, author, designer, and inventor. He developed numerous inventions, mainly architectural designs, and made practical the widely known geodesic dome. Fuller was a pioneer in thinking globally and he explored principles of energy and material efficiency in the fields of architecture and engineering. Known as a "Leonardo da Vinci of the twentieth century, "Bucky" Fuller had a keen awareness that we're all in this together. To restore this so-called spaceship earth, his contributions and legacy to the planet have improved the world's environment and societies many times over.

How does G1 design impact its community of followers and the world at large? As a progressive company, it is essential, per our value set, that mid-century design practices, styling cues, and experiences remain alive and well to this day. G1 believes in the design contributions of our great modern forerunners and the perfection they achieved. In a world rampant with disposable consumerism, we stand for timeless creativity and execution practices to last for years to come. It is our responsibility to realize that waste, mistakes, and do-overs not only cost our company resources, they also are a detriment to our planet. Our systems and methods are aimed at top efficiency. While these developments take extra time and care, not doing so impacts the world on a grander scale. In homage to our forerunner Buckminster Fuller, we too believe that it is our responsibility to add value to this generation and those that follow.
